Table of Contents

Subsoccer Table is an emerging casual football game, also known as under-the-table soccer. It combines the competitive excitement of soccer with the convenience of a tabletop game, offering a novel and unique gameplay. Instead of running around on a wide lawn, players sit at opposite ends of a table and engage in one-on-one competition on a small court beneath the table.

This game is easy to learn, fun, and suitable for all ages. Not only is it a new family entertainment option, it’s also ideal for public spaces like bars, cafes, schools, event centers, and corporate lounges, quickly immersing people in the game and fostering social interaction.

Subsoccer Basic Rules

1. Players
The standard format is 1 vs. 1, with one player on each side.
It can also be played as a 2 vs. 2 (two-player teams), but due to space constraints, single-player matches are more common.

2. Playing Field
The playing field is located beneath the table, forming a small “mini soccer field.” There are goals at each end of the court, with an enclosed space in the middle to prevent the ball from flying out.
The top of the table can also be used as a coffee table or dining table, achieving both entertainment and practicality.

3. Kick-off Rules
Before the game begins, place a small soccer ball in the center circle.
At the referee’s or player’s command, both teams simultaneously kick the ball, vying for offensive opportunities.

4. Scoring
Each goal is worth one point.
Two common methods of determining victory are:
① First-to-score: The first team to reach 5 or 10 points wins.
② Time-limited: Set a time limit of 3 minutes, 5 minutes, etc., and the team with the highest score at the end of the timer wins.

5. Player Movement Rules
Players must remain seated and use their feet to control and shoot the ball.
Using hands, other body parts, or external force is strictly prohibited.
The ball must remain rolling within the area under the table at all times.

6. Serving and Restarting
After each team scores a goal, the team that lost the game receives a restart from their own goal. If the ball is accidentally stuck at the edge of the field or in a corner, both teams can agree to return the ball to midfield and continue play.

7. Fouls and Fair Play
Prohibited Behaviors:
Intentionally kicking over tables or violently slamming equipment.
Using your body to suppress, block, or interfere with an opponent’s operation.
Deliberately delaying the game for an extended period of time.
Subsoccer emphasizes friendliness, fairness, and entertainment, prioritizing fun over winning.
